Our neighborhood is very quiet and our neighbours very nice and friendly. There are many restaurants in LaTeste and Arcachon, nice little ports with oyster farmers offering you to taste oysters with white wine, two golf pitches, football and rugby grounds within 5 kilometers. Regular electric buses commute between Arcachon and La Teste and a bus stop is very close to our house. A supermarket is also very close and a local market with local farmers takes place every thursday and in the week-end in the center of La Teste. The railway station is about 2 kilometers from our house and several trains a day allow you to go to Bordeaux very easily. (Bordeaux is about one hour from La Teste by train, and roughly the same by car but the traffic can be heavy in summer.
