Hello!

We are a French-German couple based in the South of France between Avignon and Saint Rémy de Provence. I’m a High school teacher and my husband Alain works as an architect. Our recently built architect house (in July 2019) has a large wooden terrace, a little swimming pool and a garden. It is located 1 km from the center of Noves, in a quiet little neighborhood on the countryside. Noves is a small lovely town located 10 km South from Avignon in the heart of the Provence. We are very close to Saint Rémy de Provence (10 km), the Pont du Gard and the Lubéron.
The village has the usual facilities (bread, wine, cheese, vegetables ....).

Our modern house is full of character and has a charming garden with all the facilities you need in summertime. There is also a little swimming pool with a wooden sundeck. Downstairs, there is a very large open space: a modern fully equipped kitchen, living room with large central fireplace (the fire can be seen from two sides / great for Christmas!) and dining room. There is also a guestroom, a bathroom and Alains architect study downstairs. On the first floor, there is another bedroom with its own separate bathroom and a little study. There are 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms in the house. There is a double bed in each bedroom and a comfortable double couch in Alains study. The house is very comfortable for 6 people. There a private parking in front of the house.
Because of the number of floors it would be unsuitable for disabled people. There is also a little Mazet, a little gardenhouse (little independent house in our garden very close to main house). If you are more than 6 people, we can also prepare you the little, but also very comfortable Mazet in our garden. In the Mazet, there is a bedroom, a bathroom and an open space with living room/dining room and kitchen. In the Mazet, there is also a convertible couch and place for 2 or 4 more people. Altogether, the main house and the Mazet, there is place for 10 people.

Surroundings: Noves is ideally located for easy access to the famous Pont de Gard, (a world heritage site) to Avignon with its PALAIS DES PAPES and its famous theatre festival 10 km, Les Baux de Provence (Carrière de la lumière, very attracting exhibition place) and Staint Remy de Provence at 8 km and not forgetting the Carmargue 30/40 km approx with its flamingoes, black bulls and famous white horses. Seaside resorts are about an hour drive away. Aix-en-Provence is 45 min. from our place and also Marseille and Marseille airport. The Archèche is one hour drive from our place. In summer time, you can swim in the Gorges du Toulourenc (1 hour), les Cascades du Sautadet (50min.), Vallon Pont d’Arc (1hour30), the Esparron lake for Kayak (1hour30).
