Our home provides an opportunity to visit a rural area of southern Ontario with access to all that it has to offer. Holstein is a very friendly and small (300 homes) village located in the very middle of scenic southern Ontario, 74 kilometers directly north of Guelph, Ontario the home of the prestigious Guelph University.

You'll need a car to explore all there is to see in our area. A hours drive north will take you to sand beaches of Lake Huron and the popular resort areas at Port Elgin, Southampton and Collingwood on Georgian Bay. The drive is worth the trip - beautiful farms and scenic rolling hills reachable on 1st class paved highways or quaint country lanes.

Going south you can reach the world class city of Toronto on Lake Ontario in 2 hours (167 kil), Kitchener, our "silicon valley" (88 kil). Lots to see and do, especially in the fall with farmers markets and fall fairs. Our house is a recently rescued Victorian 2 story with all the amenities.
