My neighborhood is situated on a beautiful lake approximately 7 km from the town of Bridgewater. It is considered rural but yet a very short distance to town. The neighborhood is not large and very private. We know all of the people in our neighborhood many of whom are good friends, we all watch out for one another. The lake is peaceful with little motor boat activity but especially good for canoe and kayak activity. The lake is great for swimming, fairly shallow for several meters until it drops off therefore a lovely lakefront for children but yet a good swim for adults further out. The lake becomes pleasantly warm by August. There is also wonderful bird life on the lake and in the garden. There are abike trails just a few steps from our property that can take you for kilometers through lovely wooded nature or in another direction to town. Our gardens provide a beautiful sanctuary for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing or a place to relax with a good book.
