What a wonderful exchange we have had at Ron and Helen’s. It was so kind of them to pick us up at the airport and get us settled into their lovely condo. Supplies were in to get us started and they let us know we could easily contact them if need be. The location can’t be beat. Transit right outside the door to take you to central Sydney. Marrickville itself has many wonderful ethnic restaurants and it was a short walk to Woolies Metro to pick up any needed groceries. We enjoyed catching up with Ron and Helen at the end of our stay, and again they drove us out to our airport hotel when we left!! Such wonderful hosts and such a great spot for visiting Sydney!!!

Helen and Ron were extremely flexible and helpful when we were arranging the house swap and on hand to give a very warm welcome to us. Their apartment is spacious with a lovely view of the Sydney skyline & has everything you need for a really pleasant stay. Marrickville is a busy Sydney suburb with numerous places to eat reflecting its cultural mix. We particularly loved the Vietnamese cuisine. It’s easy to travel around with a bus stop across the road and the station only a good 10 minutes walk away.

We appreciated your kindness in picking us up at the airport and making us feel so welcome when we arrived. We also had friends visit us from Queensland and were thrilled that you so graciously agreed to have them stay with us for a couple of nights, making our trip to Australia extra special. The apartment is located in a diverse ethnic suburb of Sydney which we enjoyed tremendously. Lots of restaurants and activities available in this vibrant area which we had not explored on previous trips to Sydney. Ron and Helen were excellent guests when they visited us in Victoria, BC and we would highly recommend them as exchange partners to anybody.

Lovely location and easy to get around Sydney. Pleasant view from the apartment and everything on arrival that I needed was already in the flat!

Excellent accommodation in this spacious flat. Easy access to Sydney and airport. The district was ethnically diverse and vibrant with numerous restaurants. Ron and Helen were excellent hosts and we have enjoyed their company on several occasions.

Ron and Helen's apartment was on an upper floor serviced by a lift, with basement parking. Marrickville we found was a vibrant, colourful, diverse community with their place within walking distance of all amenities. Ron and Helen were excellent hosts as well as guests in our UK home later
