- Shane and Gaye's home is only 10 minutes in-land from Palm Beach, but it is a 'world away', 'nestled' in to a beautiful shady well designed estate, with lovely views of the Hinterland from their deck - it is well and tastefully appointed and has a lovely swimming pool, that we lazed in when it was hot, and exercised in of an early morning - of nearly 50 exchanges that we have done over recent years, this was one of the most relaxing and both of us read 2 large books, rather than going out, though we still did a great 2 day drive to Mount Tambourine with an overnight Airbnb up there. We also went to Tweed Heads, nearby Palm Beach and of course Surfers Paradise, where we have good friends. All in all a great exchange and great people, and we would highly recommend it to anyone !

You can have the best of the beautiful beaches and unlimited bushwalking in the hinterland behind us.
Our home is in exclusive acreage estate and within walking distance to 240 hectacres of walking tracks and lakelands in the Tallebudgera Valley on the Southern end of the Gold Coast. (see google earth)
At the same time we are only 3km from Currumbin, Tallebudgera and Burleigh Heads Beaches, so you can drop in and out for quiet when you want it. Our home is a bright open plan space, lovely pool, deck and pool area undercover and in open space with hinterland views from most windows. There are 3 Golf Courses and one driving range within two Kms. Great neighbours allround.
We are within 30 minutes drive to Dreamworld, Movie World Seaworld and Wet & Wild and one hour from Byron Bay. Good fishing in nearby lakes, creeks & ocean. 2 rods in the garage. Sydney is a one hour flight from the Gold Coast airport (cheap) and Melbourne only two hours. You can also fly direct to NZ, Adelaide, Hobart and Perth form our airport so use it as a base.

We are in an exclusive estate Hyland Green and all properties are on large blocks in a native wildlife corridor. We have koalas, wallabies and lorikeets visiting. It is a quiet neighbourhood, an escape from the close beaches of Currumbin, Palm Beach and Burleigh Heads. We are a short walk from 240 hectares of lakes and parkland in the Lakewoods Estate. We have a spacious but comfortable home on a half acre. We have lovely views to the west and north and picture views from every window. The Gold Coast has a great year round climate and arguably the best beaches in the world. We are two kilometres from three golf courses. The hinterland behind has numerous bush walks through rainforest and waterfall country.

As well as the attractions listed above there are four theme parks up the road. Dreamworld, SeaWorld, Movie World and White Water World. A major feature is the Gold Coast Airport which takes many international flights and connects with most Australian Cities. It is about 15 minutes drive from us.
