I would like to re enrol at RMIT Melbourne and continue studying Visual Art. Ideally I would be wanting to exchange for at least six months to a year.
My house is fifteen minutes drive up the Kuranda Range north of Cairns. It sits on a ridge of one acre of land overlooking a sixty years old re growth tropical rainforest. Wallabies comfortably graze around. Bird life abounds and the occasional goanna visits at certain times of the year.
There is a large shopping centre fifteen minutes drive down the Kuranda Range and in Kuranda,a food store and a new shopping complex opening December 2010. There is a Video shop, Art Galleries, an Amphitheatre, coffee shops, clothing stores, local markets, restaurants, a butterfly and a snake farm and many more tourist attractions in the Kuranda Village which is 2 mnts drive and twenty mnts walk from the house.
There are several beaches all within twenty five minutes drive down the Kuranda Range.
In the opposite direction is the Atherton Tableland and the beautiful townships of Ravenshoe, Malanda, Lake Tinaroo, Lake Eachem and Lake Barrine
It is a peaceful and beautiful place inspiring creativity, painting, writing, walking or just resting and retreating.
