Unser Heim

Beschreibung unseres Tauschangebotes

Our home is a lovely bungalow located in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes drive or a short walk (2 km) from the seaside village of Blackrock (Dublin suburb). Dublin city is 10 km away (20 min on the bus).

House layout:
At the ground level there are two bedrooms, a full bathroom (bath/shower), a living room and a kitchen merged with a dining room. Upstairs there is one bedroom plus another bathroom. From the upstairs bedroom there is a stunning view of the Dublin Bay and the city (see photo of the sunset with landmark chimneys). Size of the house is 120m2.

Garden:
We have a large 60 m (200 feet) long gated back garden (safe for small children). The garden enjoys a south - west facing aspect and is filled with sunshine all day (there are 4 sun-loungers available for use).

Transport:
We are on a fast bus route to the Dublin city centre (20 min on the bus) and also further locations including Dun Laoghaire harbor, Wicklow Mountains and more. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk away. LUAS, the local tram, is a 20 min walk away (bus transport is sufficient to get around).

Location:
Our house makes a good base for day trips to nearby Wicklow Mountains and Dublin Mountains (fantastic hiking trails), seaside towns (Dun Laoghaire, Howth, Greystones, Bray), and also other interesting places around Ireland.
We live close to Dun Laoghaire harbor, which is a lovely place for walks along the pier, picking fresh fruit and vegetables at farmers market (every Sunday), sipping a cup of coffee in spots overlooking the harbor.
In Dublin city, there are museums and attractions for both adults and kids.
