We are both medical doctors and we work at the hospital. We have three children: Ariane, 12, Raphaël, 11, and Charles, 7. We already did 6 successful exchanges (both with Homelink and Homexchange), and we really love travelling this way. Our children are very well-behaved and respectful. We love our home and take very good care of it. Be sure that we'll treat your home with the same respect.

Vast family home situated in the city center of Quimper. The banks of river Odet are just a 5-minute walk away. The cathedral and the historical center are a 10-minute walk away.
Our home is 220 square meters and has three levels including the groundfloor.
Groundfloor: open kitchen on a dining room, a little terrace, a lounge with Hi-Fi system and the internet.

First floor:
3 bedrooms for children.

The neighbourhood is very peaceful. The Frugy Hill is 50 meters away. You can walk across its little wood to get to the historical center (10-minute walk).
The bakery is just down the street (3-minute walk). You can access the supermarket after a 10-minute walk (2-minute drive). All shops are available within the covered market of the city center (we will give you our tips for the best venues!)
Our neighbours are very friendly and ready to help.

Quimper, capital city of Finistère and French Cornwall: shops, crepe restaurant and French gourmet restaurant,within a 3-minute walk from our house.
The historical center is accessible within a 10-minute walk. Numerous cafes, restaurants (excellent crepe restaurants), shops and covered market in the city center.
Museums: Breton county museum, fine arts museum, earthenware museum.

From our house, you can quickly access the road to the beaches. We are 12 kilometers from Bénodet and Fouesnant and their beaches. Our favourite beach is “Cap Coz” in Fouesnant.
There you can practice sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, stand-up paddle, or you can simply swim with your children.
Bénodet (12km): Boarding for the Glénan islands.
Cruising on river Odet to Quimper.
Audierne (45-minute drive): boarding for the Isle of Sein.
Numerous hikes (GR34) : Raz point, Trépassés Bay, circuits along rivers Odet and Stangala, etc.
One hiking circuit, « discovery of Quimper », passes just outside the house. Magnificent hikes between Quimper and the sea.
Equestrian center 5 kilometers from the house.
Golf course 12 kilometers from the house.
Océanopolis 50 minutes from the house (Brest).
Pont-Scorff zoo 45 minutes from the house.
Other must-see cities and villages : Concarneau, Douarnenez, Pont-l’Abbé, Locronan, Pont-Aven (everything within a 20-minute drive).
