Our district, between High Pigalle and South Montmartre, is very animated:
On the one hand it is very typical, well-known for its authentic charm, with cobblestone streets and the famous steps of Montmartre hidden in its back alleys: the apartment is next to places such as the Sacré Cœur or le Moulin Rouge, great for walks but also for shopping. Countless cafés and restaurants set the scene, all very cosy and cute.
On the other hand, this district is also trendy and "hipster": you'll find many bars, nightclubs, theatres or concert halls.
Our street might be noisy sometimes because of the two bars down our building but it's very seldom in August.
The apartment is right next to a metro station and a bus stop that will enable you to visit Paris easily. There is even a bus that goes round Montmartre.
We also have plenty of supermarkets around, even bio ones, and good bakeries for typical French breakfast!
