  It was nice to re-visit Christchurch and see the re-building after the 2011 earth quake. Brad and Eve were excellent hosts. Picking me up and dropping me back to the airport was a great help with my temporary mobility issues. Their home and garden is just lovely, comfortable and spacious with close proximity to amenities including a large indoor shopping centre. 20 mins drive into Christchurch city centre and less than 10 mins to the beaches at New Brighton. I enjoyed all the usual attractions in the city, tram tour, Hagley Park, enjoying a glass of wine at the restaurants on the river terrace. Something new for me was the amazing International Antarctic Centre. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this exchange to anyone travelling in New Zealand.

  "Marvellous Hosts" Thank you Eve and Brad for making us so welcome in your modern and comfortable home and for the use of your car during our stay. Very generous and thoughtful welcome gifts. The home offers everything you could want from an exchange. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Christchurch - easily accessible by a nearby bus route. We explored the Banks Peninsula. Equally enjoyable was the local Bottle Park Forest and Travis Wetlands, right on the doorstep. All our communications have been warm and friendly and meeting our hosts added great value to the exchange. Highly recommended home and hosts.

  Eve and Brad's home was perfect for us. A modern home, and a quiet location yet handy to everything Christchurch has to offer. Parklands is on the outskirts of Christchurch, but has easy road link access to the Northern motorway and access into central Christchurch. They had thought of everything and the welcome treats were a lovely surprise. The house itself was low maintenance and easy care and that made it a true holiday. We were able to catch up with family members who live in Christchurch yet could retreat to our peaceful haven when we wanted time to ourselves. Shops were handy, and the roadside fruit and vege stall, a short drive away was a bonus. For us, it was the ideal exchange. Thank you.
