This stay in Venice was truly exceptional
My stay in Venice was truly exceptional – everything was just outstanding ! Located close to the Vaporetto stop „Giardino Biennale“ in the charming Castello District of Venice, the apartment in a calm neighbouhood makes you feel almost like a local. However, you are only at a 20 minutes walking distance from Piazza San Marco or 5 minutes away from vibrant via Garibaldi with its nice restaurants and cafés. By entering the traditional Venice house, you will be surprized by a modern, well conceived elegant apartment, equiped with every comfort you may wish. It testifies of the excellent taste of its owners. My hosts were incredibly helpful and accomodating before and throughout my stay. Their ingenious suggestions contribuated making my stay perfect. No need to add that Venice is just a dream, the most beautiful place in the world. Thank you so much, Simonetta and Maurizio!
Quiet, comforable and well located
The apartment by the public gardens is in a lovely spot. You can walk out for your day's sightseeing or get the vaporetto nearby. There are also cafes and restaurants a short walk. We had a wonderful time. We had lots of nice helpful messages with Maurizio and Simonetta.

la communication avec Maurizio a été facile et agréable. notre séjour nous a permis de renouer avec les souvenirs de nos précédents séjours à Venise de retrouver des lieux et des sensations et en même temps de faire quelques découvertes. un grand merci à Maurizio et Simonetta d'avoir pris soin de nos chats et laissé notre maison en parfait état
It was spectacular!
We had a really, really lovely time in Venice, this "oh so beautiful" city. The house of Maurizio is really wonderful, in a very quiet area of Venice, in Castello. With the Vaporetto it is just a short ride to all the sights. But we really enjoyed the surrounding area and nice restaurants nearby as well. We enjoyed the breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco. And even had a fantastic Spritz all together at one of the Canals. Maurizio and his wife were wonderful hosts and we are very much looking forward to seeing them in Berlin in a couple of months.

We felt very lucky to do our first home link exchange with Simonetta, Maurizio and Margherita in Venice! They welcomed us warmly and were very friendly. Their beautiful and newly renovated holiday house in Venice is situated perfectly next to the Biennale Giardini. When we hung our washed clothes out on the street to dry we felt like homies. ;-) We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
What wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly and fun. A perfect comfortable environment outside of the more touristed part of Venice but still just a short walk to St. Mark's Square. I have nothing but superlatives to say (and that's not like me).

We had a wonderful break in Venice in Maurizio's lovely home. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay in the well-equipped apartment. Maurizio is easy going and caring, very organized, emails promptly and has compiled excellent maps, instructions and recommendations for visitors to the apartment. He was even so kind as to guide us around the area and let us discover hidden gems of Venice! The location could not have been more ideal: absolutely central, we could walk to anywhere in Venice but were also so close to the waterbus stops, with bars and shops around, so we found it comfortable and convenient. Thanks again Maurizio and you're welcome in Sicily whenever you like! Silvia and family
Fabulous swap!
This is a great little flat (very modern) in a very central part of Venezia--we walked all over the city. The host met us at the boat dock and took us to the flat, and later even took us out for drinks. They provided a wifi hotspot that we carried and used with our phone all over the city. Wonderful people, Wonderful home. Thank You!
Between Venice and the sea
We did an exchange for nearly two weeks in Maurizios and his familys house on Lido. The location is perfect, two minutes walk to a public beach and Venice nearby. The small village Malamocco, where the house is situated, was very nice and had a good restaurang. The contact we had with Maurizios was perfect. He answered questions fast and left us useful information in the flat. We appriciated Lido, both the house and the surroundings, and could really recommend an exchange.
