• Beautiful Maastricht

  What a lovely week we had - Maastricht is such a gorgeous place to visit, with beautiful buildings and views around virtually every corner. It has lots of interesting history, and very good food! We wish we had had longer to explore the surrounding area, where it looks as though there was a lot to see. As it was, we managed a brief trip to Aachen (in torrential rain) and a day trip to Den Bosch with Dutch friends (in glorious sunshine). You have a lovely house, and we felt very welcome and at home for our week there. It was a very convenient base for our trips into the centre and further afield. Your next-door neighbour was also very friendly. Thank you for looking after our house so well too.

  Mooi en ruim huis met grote, zonnige tuin. Heel gastvrij echtpaar, verassende attentie bij onze aankomst. Wij voelden ons thuis. Goede boeken in de kast en een echte platenspeler. Voor de liefhebbers: koken op gas.

  Thank you Ellie and Hans for being great hosts. We enjoyed our stay in your cosy house, only 5 km from the city center of Maastricht. We love to visit cities from time to time, but we will always remain real nature lovers. Only a few kms from the house we were able to make wonderful walks. This was really nice and especially in this period of the year it gave us the possibility to escape from the carnaval crowd. Thanks again Hans and Ellie.
