• The perfect Easter break in Waalwijk

  Many thanks to Mathijs & Richmonde for having 5 (not 4 ;-)) Belgians over at their lovely house. Waalwijk proved to be the ideal base camp for visiting Den Bosch, a day trip to Rotterdam and .. so close to top notch nature (5 stars for the dune area at walking/cycling distance away). And of course, thanks for treating our house so well and for enyoing Brussels.

  Mathijs and Richmonde offer a nice and clean home. Best biking into all directions - wood, dunes, fields and alongside waterways. Easy shopping near by. We had a top week thanks a lot.

  We had a great stay in the house of Mathijs and Richmonde. Waalwijk is a nice little town but very important are the possibilities to bike and walk almost from the house. Loonse en Drunens duinen is a beautiful nature reserve close by. We had lovely weather but if the weather is different, big cities like Tilburg, Den Bosch and Eindhoven offer different museums and other possibilities. Great stay, thanks, Arthur and Mary

• Great house, beautiful quiet area, great host

  Beautiful house, extremely organized, clean and comfortable. We spent 4 beautiful days in the quiet environment and enjoyed the garden. Very hospitable and nice, friendly hosts, don't miss to meet them in person!

  Waalwijk ist eine kleine, ruhige Stadt, mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort. Vom Busbahnhof aus ist eine gute Verkehrsanbindung nach Rotterdamm, Zugfahrt sehr einfach und angenehm, ein Auto braucht man in Rotterdam auf keinen Fall. Die Stadt Breda ist sehr interessant, empfehlenswert: Grote Kerk, Markt, Begijnhof. Das besondere Highlight war das schöne, großzügige, gepflegte Haus, mit sonnigem Innenhof, der Fam. van Daalen. Vor dort erreichten wir fußläufig den Busbahnhof und die Innenstadt. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit, trotz großer Hitze!

  we had a great time in this nice and very clean house, we really felt at home. Some great things to visit in the neighbourhood: De Efteling, Safaripark De Beekse Bergen,... We definitely recommend these exchange partners
