Explore beautiful, ancient Ireland
We had a great stay in this lovely, spacious home, with everything we needed for a comfortable, peaceful stay. Walking distance to the beach and local shops and cafes/restaurants and an easy car trip to visit many local attractions. Dublin is also within reach for day trips (we went by car since the trains aren’t very easy to plan around). We loved the Wexford area and how quiet and unspoilt it is – but with plenty of things to see and do, such as the spectacular Hook lighthouse and the Irish National Heritage Park just up the road. We also enjoyed a personal (free!) tour of Ferns Castle with an extremely interesting guide. Thank you to the family for giving us this opportunity.
Wonderful swap to a beautiful part of Ireland
We had an amazing trip to The Fahys wonderful home, only minutes from the beach. The house was large, spacious, well decorated and comfy and we really felt at home there. The village is quiant but with his amenities and lovely places to eat and drink. Rosslare is a gorgeous part of the world and the perfect place to day trip to other places from. We did some lovely trips to Wexford, Hook coastal route, lovely beachs nearby, and to neighbouring Waterford. We enjoyed the Heritage Park as well as the cool Hook lighthouse and much more. Thanks for the warm welcome, welcome basket and all the communication before our swap as that made it so much more personable. We would highly recommend a swap to Rosslare for above thinking about it. Best of luck from sunny Edinburgh from the Thomas clan xx
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Emmet et Orla. L'échange de voiture que nous avions organisé s'est avéré une très bonne initiative car d'un côté comme de l'autre il était nécessaire d'avoir un véhicule pour se déplacer. C'était notre première fois en Irlande, nous y reviendrons!
We have just returned from a fantastic stay in Rosslare. Emmet & Orla were very easy to communicate with & most helpful. Their home is beautiful, full of character & our children really loved playing with all the toys. They left a comprehensive guide which gave us great information about the local area, and we really enjoyed everything Rosslare & the surrounding area had to offer. We had a fantastic time!
A super location in Rosslare Strand, the house was 5 star with a lovely warm welcome from the Fahy Family, the house has all the amenities and was a delight to stay in…thanks again Fahy’s.
Beautiful home beside Rosslare strand beach
Thanks to Orla and Emmet for the use of their beautiful home. This staycation worked out so well, we got the weather to be able to walk to the beach, even felt like we could have been in France on our holidays despite Covid cancellation. Communication was easy, house was spotless and organised. Children loved playing with the great selection of toys & books. We had a really chilled time, enjoyed tennis, crazy golf in the local centre, nice coffee and treats at Kelly's deli, icecream shop and took in short day trips including Johnstown house and Hook Head. Lots to do and see. Thanks again for making our trip to the sunny south east so nice.
Just back from our first ever home swap. We had the most wonderful holiday in Rosslare at the Fahys home. The house is fantastic. It's full of character and perfect for children. The Fahys were so easy to deal with providing sensible guidance and had made up a great guest book. Wexford is a super place to visit. There it lots to do especially for children. Fantastic house - Stunning Location
We had a brilliant time in the Fahy's house in Rosslare, it was a relaxed vibe in the house, no fuss, very clean and well organised, tastefully decorated, plenty of space for everyone with everything we needed to hand and plenty for the kids to do and play with while we were there. We loved Rosslare - overall a great time had by all. Thank you all again.
We had great holidays in Rosslare, thanks to Emmet's house. It was spacious and comfortable for us and our children. We liked visiting the surroundings, such as Hook Peninsula for instance. We enjoyed our day trip to Dublin too.
We felt like being at home. Wonderful.
