  A great location and lovely cosy house, gateway to the lakes. Ulverston is a very lively little town with nice shops and pubs. We enjoyed every minute of it ! Thank you Jez and Melany !

  We liked Ulverston and the surrounding area. Ideal for walking and well worth going to the Roxy cinema. Thank you Jez and Melanie for sharing your holiday cottage with us. We have missed the Lake District and hope to be back again soon.

  Locally there were lots of independent shops and some short walks. But it was a good base from which to explore the Lake District. We made use of some of the walk books in the house and really enjoyed walking in the fells.
