• Beautiful Mill Valley

  We had a wonderful time in Mill Valley. Brian and Tracy have a great house in a wonderful location with a fabulous climate. Mill Valley is close to San Francisco and the beautiful Northern California coast. We enjoyed many scenic hikes and drives and had all necessary amenities close at hand. Thanks for a lovely exchange.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tracy and Brian’s home. We were delighted with the location, a beautiful park immediately next door and a short walk to the lovely small town of Mill Valley. Their home was very well organised and lots of information about the area and activites was provided. We had some great trips out to the beautiful coast and up into the mountains. We used local buses to go to Sausalito, and also into San Francisco. They were always reliable and very easy to use and avoided the hassle of driving and parking. We used the buses and ferries to make the circular trip from San Francisco and Sausalito. Angel Island was another delight, tranquil with stunning views. The local walks and tracks with beautiful views were amazing so close to such a large city. Thanks for an enjoyable stay in your very comfortable and spacious house.

• Amazing family home and lovely people

  Our group of four adults and three teenagers had a fantastic week at Tracy and Brian's amazing house in Mill Valley. We arrived early evening and the comprehensive information pack ensured we found everything we needed quickly and easily. The house is so well presented and has everything you could need - even a laundry shoot! The road is so peaceful and listening to the birds along with the smell of the pine trees made it feel so natural. A stroll to the boutique shops and deli each morning to collect fresh bread for breakfast meant being greeted cheerily by everyone we met en route and in our favourite shop - Mill Valley Market. The kids especially loved being right by a park so they could play football (soccer) and spent many evenings playing tennis under the floodlights thanks to the rackets and balls left out for us. Tracy and Brian had also been thoughtful enough to leave out ingredients for us to make ‘s’mores’, following a query to them from our kids on what constituted a s’more - which were greatly enjoyed by us all. Both cars available meant the seven of us could get around easily on our trips around Marin County and into town and allowed our large group the flexibility to travel to different places but meet up later. Clear and honest communication before during and after the exchange meant it was the easiest holiday one could wish for. We could not have hoped for a better exchange experience.
