  What a great time we had staying in Alpedrete. The girls loved the pool and we could walk into the village for dinner. The house is in a great location. A 40 minute drive or bus journey into Madrid and all the cultural delights it has to offer plus you can be up in the mountains in 30 minutes to hike or ski! We found loads of places to visit for days trips. Avila, Segovia, Cercidilla, El Escorial and La Granja de Ildefonso and a fab water park Aquaopolis Thanks Mayte and her family for exchanging with us.

  Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni bellissimi nella casa di mayte e famiglia. Siamo stati bene e abbiamo gradito tantissimo cenare in giardino. Ottimo luogo di partenza per visitare Madrid e dintorni.

  Mayte was so helpful over email before and during the exchange, including borrowing car seats, high chair and cot for us to save us travelling with them. It was so nice to be able to have all those useful items when we got there and all the luxuries of being in a home not hotel or hostel. Their home in Alpedrete was really lovely and we really enjoyed staying there and exploring the local area. It was very hot during our visit but the house was cool and the swimming pool was wonderful. Our children's water confidence and swimming massively improved during our stay and the pool lifeguard was very friendly and helpful. There was also a small playground in the communal area which the children enjoyed. Mayte and her family had left lots of useful information for us and toys for the children. We visited almost everywhere they suggested and enjoyed it all! We have returned home to glowing reports from our neighbours about Mayte and her family and can't wait for our next exchange. Thank you!
