Lindfield was a delightful surprise. We found the historical features of the village intriguing - glad that we didn't have to 'stand up' at the Stand Up Inn though! Great location for train trips to the south coast and walking generally.
Thanks for the lovely stay in Lindfield which is a very cosy village. The house was very comfortable and well maintained. The neighbours friendly en helpful. We did a lot of biking and the city of Haywarts heath is a good starting point, in any direction, with public transport. I can recommend this destination to everybody. You are very lucky to live in such a beautiful region, greetings, hendrik
We had a great time in Lindfield. We thought the house ideally situated for our family (parents + 2 young adults + 2 teenagers). We have made wonderful day trips to London (50 minutes by train, with various possible stations in London) ; the sea is not far away and we have done nice walks is the nearby forests. It was great to be so close to London and to be able to relax in a quiet area every other day. The house is large, very comfortable with a lovely garden, situated in a quiet neighbourhood. We had a lovely welcome from our hosts (all the beds arranged for our large party, a meal prepared for our first day, lots of tourism informations gathered for us, bikes avaiblable for us). They left our own house in perfect order. It has been a wonderful home exchange.
Lovely family house with all factilities in a sweet village. The home made shepard's pie was a real treat for the whole family ! Thank you very much ! We much enjoyed eastbourne, the south downs and beachy head ! Very pittoresque !
