Thank you for a great exchange
We had a great stay during our Easter holidays and felt very welcome, also due to the nice and welcoming neighbours. The cats were all really friendly, too, even to our 2-year-old daughter. The house is equipped with everything you need and there is a great and spacious garden to relax in. We visited Bergamo, Brescia and Malpaga castle and enjoyed the great Italian food and ice cream. The conversation with our exchange family was easy and heartily before and during our stay and we enjoyed the whole exchange very much. THANK YOU!

Quiet vacation with lots of options
Thank you very much for your hospitality! The home was well prepared for us with a generous welcome package. The lovely neighbours welcomed us and were always helpful. The area is rather quiet and we enjoyed relaxing in the garden. The kids liked to play with the cats, and they are very self-sufficient and do not need much care. To get anywhere you need to go by car, but then there are many great options for excursions. We explored Bergamo, Lake Como with Parco Valentino, Lago d’Iseo with Monte Isola, but also close by the river Brembo offers nice spots to refresh. Thank you again for a great time!
Super vacances en Italie
Nous avons passé à un très beau séjour chez Mauro et Francesca ! L'accueil très sympa était assuré par les voisins-amis Paulo et Paula, nous avons tout de suite été mis à l'aise. Beaucoup de petites attentions et un délicieux dessert Italien nous attendaient. La maison est très belle, aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et adaptée pour un séjour dans l'Italie chaude de l'été. L'environnement est calme avec tous les services à 5mn en voiture ou à pied. Pas de mal de choses à voir dans la région : La vieille ville de Bergame, les lacs (Côme mais aussi Iseo un peu plus loin), Milan. De belles ballades à faire dans les vallées à proximité. Nos coups de coeur : L'arrivée à Bergame par le funiculaire S. Vigilio, la ballade à SanGiovanni Bianco à la rencontre d'Arlequin et le restaurant Al Botto à Roncola, offrant une vue magnifique sur la plaine du Pô. Mention spéciale pour le repas avec nos voisins ?
We had a very good stay at Mauro and Francesca's house. Their house is very great and their neighbors very nice. Their country is very beautiful. We loved visiting Bergamo, Milan, seeing the lake of Come and Iseo, making moutain walks... Thanks a lot !!!
Fabulous holiday in Almenno/Bergamo
This was our first Homelink experience, and we were so lucky to swap homes with Family Piatti from Italy. Their home was everything we hoped for and more - welcoming, happy, and colorful. It is a very charming house, built in the oldest part of the town, with additions that fit the old style, and with underground parking just across the street. Even on the hottest days, the house was nice and cool. The neighbours were friendly, showed us the house and helped us with all our questions. We felt very welcome, and thorougly enjoyed the garden, the lovely view from the house, and the town of Almenno as well as the exciting surroundings. The house is close to Bergamo, Milan, and the Lakes, and we also visited Crema and the Monza Racetrack. All in all we had the perfect holiday and came home to a house that was in top order.
Perfect exchange in beautiful surrounding!
Franci and Mauros home is very cosy, clean and we had a very warm welcome. Already before there was a lively exchange about the local leisure activities. They are both friendly and the contact with both also during the exchange was always very open and nice. In her house we felt very comfortable. Our son loves the toys from their kids and playing with the cats. Also the neighbor's little dog was fast becoming his friend. The neighbours were very friendly and always open to answer questions. At Easter they surprised us with fresh croissants for breakfast. Thanks again for that. The surrounding is very beautiful, mountains, nature, lovely restaurants with delicious food and ice-cream. We visited Bergamo, a beautiful city. We also found a lot of information about what recreational opportunities there was in the immediate and wider area. Thanks again for your warm welcome and for giving us the opportunity to change our home with yours. It was really great!

Bergamo is a beautiful city with lot’s of historic sites, restaurants & good shopping. Your information folder with brochures & information was excellent. Very welcoming house in a beautiful landscape
We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely house in a beautiful location. The view from the garden is spectacular! Almenno San Salvatore is conveniently located so that you can explore Lombardy and go sightseeing in Bergamo, Milano, or Brescia, or relax by the shores of Lake Como or Iseo. Restaurants and shops are nearby. Thank you for taking such good care of our house while we were enjoying Italy!

We had a nice time, didn't knew we had to share the garden with the neighbours but as turned out, they were great and we had a few dinners together. Little house and lot's of musqitos and the bed was a bit hard but we had a great holiday, thank you.
