  We greatly enjoyed being in Terry and Anne's charming house. It was an easy walk to downtown Lichfield, an equally-easy drive to the Lichfield Trent Valley train station (where one catches the train to London), and a lovely quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours all around. As we are charity-shop shoppers, we also enjoyed the plethora of such shops in Lichfield, not to mention the gorgeous cathedral and nearby park, as well as some very nice restaurants (avoid the Tudor House, however). The location was also convenient for trips to places such as Stourport-on-Severn, Stafford, and Burton-on-Trent (or anywhere else one might wish to go).
