  Firstly let me say thank you for communicating with us so that we could synchronize our flight to the extent we got to see you at the Hobart airport before flying out, and being able to pick up the car at Andrews airport parking. Having the car there was great and saved each of us having to rely on public transport. Margaret and Alans' home exchange provided us with the perfect location to explore the many wine regions of South Australia including the Fleurieu Peninsula. Scott and I found it easy keeping our morning walk routine up as there were plenty of walking tracks at the end of the street. The information gathered of local events taking place during our visit certainly made decision making of what to see and where to go easy. Thank you for also going above and beyond to provided us with information for the next part of our journey, driving the Nullarbor from Perth to Melbourne. Thank you Alan and Margaret for a wonderful home exchange and a great SA experience. We had a fabulous exchange and I'm sure that was due to our communication.

• A very successful exchange

  We have recently returned from a very enjoyable three week stay at Margaret and Alan's house in Lynton. The house itself is spacious and comfortable with fabulous views of Adelaide or the sea from every window and the decking. It is surrounded by mature eucalyptus trees and there is lots of birdlife with Rosellas and Lorikeets visiting daily. There are also several local walking trails. It is very conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood but only a five minute walk to the local train station for the short ride to the city centre. Many lovely beaches are easily accessible by car as are the Adelaide hills for walks and wineries and the Fleurieu Peninsula for McLaren Vale wines and more beaches. Kangaroo Island is also possible for an overnight trip. Margaret and Alan were very hospitable and welcoming. Alan picked us up from the airport, they gave us lunch and provided us with lots of information about the house and area. Margaret was a great communicator throughout despite long interruptions in the arrangements due to Covid! An excellent exchange - we recommend it. Margaret and Alan left our house in immaculate condition.

• A warm welcome in a lovely house

  The house is ideally situated a short walk from a station to go into the town centre and to the Belair National Park. It was very clean and well equipped and we had a very warm welcome from Margaret and Alan. We had a wonderful stay.

  We very much enjoyed staying in your home, with its wonderful views from the deck. We made the most of the location and made many visits to Belair for the lovely walks there. It was also very convenient to be able to take the train into the city. Thank your you! David and Julia.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Margaret & Alan's home in the Adelaide foothills. Wonderful views from the lounge of Adelaide city and the coast. It was conveniently located to the local shops & railway station. It made a lovely base to visit the Adelaide hills.
