  Rosalind's home was extremely comfortable, well-equipped and centrally-located for the village and we had a lovely and relaxing stay. We were short of nothing at all and communications with our host were friendly and excellent. Parking was off-road and private. Tourism material supplied was first-rate and there were loads and loads of books to read and games to play. We enjoyed our stay enormously and are very grateful indeed to our host and for a terrific home in a very attractive location. Relaxation can be assured. Thank you.

  We so enjoyed both the house and the surrounding area. There is plenty to see and do and it was nice to have such a comfortable and convenient base to travel from.

• Lovely home very close to centre of Ashburton

  Comfortable, well located house near the centre of Ashburton, which is a pretty small Devon town, and on the edge of Dartmoor. Amongst other places, visited RHS Rosemoor in north Devon and Coleton Fishacre, a 1920's house belonging to the National Trust with a stunning garden that leads down to views of the sea. Had an excellent lunch in the Rugglestone Inn just outside Widecome in the Moor. Was lucky enough to be there at the start of the Devon Artists Open Studios week. Visited several talented ceramicists' studios.

  Thank you Lindy for letting us stay in your lovely comfortable home. It was great that Carol and Stephen could come too. Thank you Jenny for the lovely casserole and crumble which we all thoroughly enjoyed. So sorry we missed your visit. We really enjoyed our week and had an adventure every day - Devon roads are an adventure!
