Merci Michèle et Robert, de nous avoir permis de vivre 2 très belles semaines, dans votre maison si singulière, mais ô combien chaleureuse et pleine de charme. Nous sommes heureux de vous avoir permis de passer une semaine en famille, rehaussé par cette belle énergie juvénile de vos petits enfants. Merci pour ce très bel échange.
A very relaxing stay, with superb view!
Dear Michèle and Robert, You were great hosts to exchange with, good and easy communication, both in French and English. In stead of spring we now exchanged in August which was fine. You have a very French lange house with many rooms and nice details. From every room there is a wonderful view on the river Seine which is at this point very wide. Large sea-ships come by, passing under the immense bridge in front. The house lies on top of a cliff so you can see very far beyond the Seine as well. Each day we sat in the garden, under the grapes and fig-tree, enjoying the view and quietness. From your home, only 5 minutes on foot, you can enter a dense beautiful forest. We made a few nice walks. We visited an abbey nearby, the museum of Victor Hugo and we spend a day in Rouen which is really worthwhile to go to. And of course there were some good plâts du jour! We had a very relaxing week, thank you so much Michèle and Robert. We wish you all the best, in good health and with many more nice exchanges ahead. Warm greetings, Hilleke and Mijndert
The stay in Caudebec en Caux we enjoyed very much! And it was so nice that also our old mother could come with us. The view over the Seine is amzing and we loved both the culture of Rouen and the impressing monasteries and the nature of the landscape around the Seine
We felt really good in the big characteristic and cosy house in Caudebec en Caux. The ever changing view on the Seine and the landscape the other border with the blue sky above are beautiful. We visited the impressing Abbey of Jumièges and the beautiful town Rouen and als of course the cliffs above Le Havre und by les Grandes Dalles. The romantic gardens around the chaumières( cottages) are like a fairy tale

Beautifully situated overlooking the Seine
A house with a soul with lots of rooms in 3 levels, with beautiful view over river the Seine. It's a perfect place to explore Normandie. We enjoyed visiting the old citties of Rouen and Honfleur and spending time at the beach of Etretat. So the combination of the business of a city and the quitenes of woodland...biking...walking works really well. Thank you Michele and Robert for your very warm welcome and for all the food and drinks that were waiting for us. We felt very much at home in your home!
