  We loved our time in this Halifax region, and the opportunity to explore the rest of Nova Scotia. The home is particularly comfortable and in an wonderful location with panoramic views. Excellent hosts who were most generous in providing for our happiness during a memorable exchange.

  Suzanne and Mike have a beautiful house. We loved it ! Halifax and Nova Scotia, especially CapeBreton Island is something we warmly recommend to anyone. Nice places to visit are also Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and Acadian sites (Annapolis Royal, Grand Pré). We enjoyed every moment !

• Puffin Burrow - Simply Magic!

  Suzanne & Mike's home 'Puffin Burrow' was a delight - perched high up over St Margaret's Bay's west of Halifax. The home had all and every conceivable convenience so that we wanted for absolutely nothing - particularly cooking spices! Our hosts' introductions enabled us to feel at home with neighbours and the local community and enabled us to explore the vast and beautiful inlets of St Margaret's Bay then further afield to Mahone Bay & Grand Pre as well as many days in to the sights of Halifax/Dartmouth. Indeed, three weeks was just enough time to see most of the sights with kayaking on Chester Harbour and the tall ships and folk festival at Lunenburg the most memorable. Suzanne & Mike's vehicles allowed for easy travel and their home manager, Jim was available to provide for our transfer to Halifax railway station at the end of our stay. We would highly recommend Puffin Burrow and only hope that our hosts have enjoyed Australia as much as we did with our visit to the Canadian Maritimes.
