• Amazing location in a charming home

  My family of 4 just returned from 2 weeks at Jan and Els beautiful and historic home. It's just as described, and the location is perfect for exploring Amsterdam. In the historic center without being in the highest tourism areas. They took great care of our home and car, and we'd recommend them for any exchange.

  We loved to be in Amsterdam in the typically canal house of Els and Jan. It was a pleasure to watch the 2 different canals and the people during our meals. A comforable flat with all you need on different floors. And we found our flat in Berlin beeing in best hands, well cared and cleaned. We would do an exchange with Els and Jan everytime again.Best regards from Raymund and Dagmar from Berlin !

  We really enjoyed our stay In Amsterdam. Jan & Els home was wonderful experience of living in the historical centre of Amsterdam in a house that looks out on to the Amstel. They were thoughtful, considerate and cooperative in our talks to set up our agreement. They then followed through completely on all of our arrangements. We felt very comfortable staying in there home

  What an incredible experience to live directly on the canal with a gorgeous view of the Amstel. We loved the vibrant neighbourhood and had fun biking with the Dutch throughout the city. There is so much to see and experience in Amsterdam that we can't wait until our next visit. Jan and Els went over and above to welcome us with an unforgettable tour of the canals and dinner. We fell in love with the Dutch humour and zest for life as we met Jan and Els. Their home is modern and well equipped but steeped in history and gave us a unique experience to stay in a century's old canal house. Thanks for a great exchange and beautiful memories to last a lifetime!

  Wat een geweldig weekend hebben we gehad. Hartje Amsterdam met uitzicht op de Amstel met zijn vele bootjes, de magere brug met zijn prachtige lichtjes 's avonds. We hebben genoten van alles wat de stad te bieden had van Rijksmuseum tot het Anne Frankmuseum en het rondstruinen door de stad. Heel hartelijk dank voor jullie gastvrijheid en voor de vele mooie herinneringen die we nu mee naar huis hebben genomen!
