Little Ravenswell is a large detached 4 bedroom home in North Bristol, ideal for exploring Bath, the Cotswolds and Bristol. Having been fully updated since we purchased it, including installation of a bespoke Shaker kitchen and lantern roof lights and large extension with sliding doors, we are looking for exchanges from 2021 onwards. We are bound by school holiday dates and therefore exchanges during the half term and summer holidays are preferable. We're experienced exchangers and are always selling the brilliant benefits of a home swap to our friends!
Our home is set in 0.5 acres of mature garden (which we love) and backs on to fields, yet is within 10 minutes of a large shopping Mall. We're located on the edge of the Cotswolds and trips to Bath, Bristol or Cardiff are all within easy reach. The house was fully renovated in 2019 therefore your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable (just the bathroom to do at the end of 2020). With a large open plan kitchen, dining area complete with parquet herringbone flooring, a separate children's playroom and adult living room we hope the house will suit anyone we exchange with. There is space for 2 cars on our driveway. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have double beds (the other bed is a double trundle bed and single bed) and a family bathroom (still to be modernised).
Outside in the garden is a pond, mature trees and shrubs, a seating area, tree swing and climbing frame.
Bristol was recently voted the best city in the UK to live/visit. We love it and feel it has so much to offer visitors. Whilst we're only 20 minutes from the Centre of Bristol, we're also on the doorstep of Bath and the Cotswolds, so our home is a great base for exploring. In the local village is a great pub, the traditional sort with a log fire and great food.
We're five minutes from The Wave (the only in the UK) it’s an inland surfing experience where you can test your surfing skills on a 180m long lake. The surf ranges from 1.5ft to 6.5ft arriving every 10 seconds so suitable for beginners to the best boarders. If you don't fancy surfing then it has a great cafe and lots of street food vans selling tasty food.
Bristol is also famous for Banksy, the amazing graffiti street artist. We can tell you where to spot his work or you'll be able to mooch around the city on one of the professional Banksy street tours.
If you'd like to explore Bath you can also make an easy day out to see all this regency city has to offer, parking in the park & ride, visiting Pultney Bridge, enjoying the shopping area and then walking around the Crescent.
We'll leave you with lots of attraction guides, information leaflets and suggestions of places to visit - as well as a tasty treat to welcome you to our home.
