We are booked through the fall of 2018, and we are now hoping for exchanges to Paris and the south of France in the spring and/or summer of 2019. But we are always open to alternative destinations in Europe, including Christmas exchanges. We do enjoy the urban lifestyle, so our preference - though not exclusive - is for larger cities and towns.
Our third floor, fully-renovated, very bright apartment with all modern conveniences and a large private patio is right in the heart of Vancouver's vibrant downtown West End. It has a comfortable and quiet master bedroom with en-suite bath plus a den/office/guest room and second full bathroom. Recently renovated with all new appliances and including a separate in-suite laundry room. While our recommendation is for two people only, the den/office has a fold-out sofa-bed, suitable for one extra person, particularly a teenager. Our computer is equipped with WiFi for internet access, and our entertainment system includes three TVs, a 48" Smart TV in the living area, and smaller wall-mounted models in the master bedroom and den. All are linked together with a 'Gateway' PVR system which allows shows recorded on any one TV to be viewed on every other. The 'Smart' system links the main TV directly to the internet at the push of a button, to provide access to such things as Netflix and YouTube. The building itself is well-maintained, with a resident caretaker, and has a well-equipped exercise room, sauna, and social room. If you google 'Eleven Eleven Haro Street, Vancouver, B.C.', you should find an agent's YouTube presentation about the building itself. It is worth noting that the building by-laws do allow home exchanges.
