We are now interested in exchanges anywhere in Europe and in Britain at any time of the year, in countryside or in interesting cities. We would also still be interested in long weekends in Britain.

Water Row is a one bedroom, two person, generously sized, 3 storey luxury grade holiday house in the centre of Corbridge, a very pretty and historic village with about 3,000 people on the River Tyne. Corbridge centre is exceptionally well provided with several restaurants, shops of every kind, 6 pubs and many historic buildings. It is on the railway with links to all directions.

The house is within 10 minutes of Hadrians Wall World Heritage site and 2 National Parks,25 minutes from Newcastle to the east, 30 minutes from Newcastle airport by car or 45 minutes by train, 45 minutes from Carlisle to the West,and to Historic Durham (also a WH Site), and 60 mins to the beautiful Northumbrian coast.

The house is about 200 years old and we restored and extended it in as our own house originally before moving.(we are both architects and live about 5 minutes away). It is very well equipped . There is adjacent parking space and a small, south facing landscaped garden in front of the house with magnificent views out over the river which you can see in the photographs. Ground floor: Glazed porch , door to Kitchen and dining room, with a glazed conservatory looking out to the river. First floor: sitting Room and shower room/ toilet. Second floor generous bedroom with en-suite bathroom and separate shower .

There is wi-fi in the house , small supermarket within 200m, swimming pool and farmers market in the historic market place of Hexham nearby.
