We arrived in Wicklow to find a wonderful home away from home. Spacious and close to town, supermarkets, restaurants, shops but still surprisingly private; Helen & David's home was very comfortable. Sitting at the kitchen table, there's a beautiful view of the sea that you can enjoy. Our son was in seventh heaven with all the new lego and toys, and there's a lovely garden at the back of the house. We had lovely trips around Wicklow taking in Glendalough, Glenmalure Falls, Greenan Maze & gardens, Avoca and of course the golden sandy beaches of Brittas Bay. We had some great meals in Chester Beatty's in Ashbourne and Bridge Tavern, all kindly recommended by our wonderful hosts. You can't beat local knowledge. We also had a short trip (only 50 mins to Dublin) to Farmleigh House in the Phoenix Park - very impressive house and grounds. We would highly recommend this home for an exchange.
