We are looking for someone to spend a few months in our home this year in exchange for a month or two at yours in the next couple of years . Interested ? Contact us for further information.
Our home is a comfortable family home situated metres from both the river and the sea in Devonport, a small city on the NW coast of Tasmania.
This is a great place for exploring the whole of Tasmania. We have several National Parks nearby and 6 or so golf courses within a 30min drive. Barnbougle Dunes and The Lost Farm are an easy day excursion.
We have a second home in the Tasmanian highlands on a trout fishing lake which may also be available for exchange.

We live in a very quiet street only minutes walk from the city centre where all the usual amenities are available (e.g. restaurants, theatre, cinema, shopping, supermarkets etc). There is a lovely coastal walking/cycling path just across the road. A beach, the surf club, a couple of lovely restaurants and a childrens playround are only a few minutes walk away. It is a short walk to the tennis club a bit further to the public acquatic centre, open year round and a short drive to the local golf club.

From our home it is a short walk to the city centre where you will find all the usual amenities including shopping, theatre, cinema, gallery, supermarkets etc. Across the road is a walking/cycling track that passes a lovely children's playground, a beach, the surf club, the local tennis courts and the acquatic centre. The Bass Strait Maritime centre is in the street, includes a small café.

We don't need a mansion but like to have a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the ambience of our destination.
