We are a family of three. Jeff is Scottish, Janneke is Dutch and our son Findlay has lived in Sri Lanka his whole life. We love living in Asia but are looking to get our son through his last 2 years of secondary school before he can go to University for Drama and Theater studies. Jeff is from Edinburgh and we would like to stay in the Edinburgh area.

Beautiful Colonial Style house in Galle, Southern Sri Lanka. Set in lush tropical garden the house comprises 1 master bedroom with ensuite, 1 single bedroom and a double annexe with ensuite bathroom. Only 10 minutes from the UNESCO world heritage site of Galle Fort as well as 10 minutes to gorgeous beaches along the South Coast of Sri Lanka. Inside living areas, fully equipped kitchen and outside living verandah overlooking the garden.

Small village 3 km inland from Galle Fort and beautiful beaches. We get around mainly by tuk tuk or motorbike. Lovely and peaceful area to live. All the joy of nearby tourist areas but not any of the noise and crowds. Lots of paddy fields and tea plantations in the area. There are little shops in our village and large supermarkets in Galle town.

Our house in the tropics comes with a housekeeper who comes in daily to look after the property inside and out. We are looking to move for a longer period of 1 or 2 years, as our son needs to do his A-levels in the Scotland. We would like to be in the Edinburgh area.
