We had such a lovely break in Rome! We arrived late and were welcomed with a massive Easter egg and special Easter cake and Leo the cat who very quickly became friendly. Lorenza lives in an apartment that is perfectly situated to visit the whole of Rome. We walked everywhere and visited all of the sights. In the evenings we visited the local square and soaked up the atmosphere. Thank you Lorenza for letting us all stay over in the Easter holiday.

And so it happened! We love this vibrant city, but discovered also many beautiful and lesser-known places besides the famous hotspots. The atmosphere and ambiance of Trastevere's narrow streets remind us of Fellini's films. Lorenza's flat is very cosy and located in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood a short walk from trams and buses, but if you walk around you can easily reach most of the highlights on foot. We lost our hearts and souls to this magnificent city and think back to this very successful home exchange with a great feeling of thankfulness and satisfaction.

L’échange avec Lorenza fut très agréable, à cause d’un problème de dernière minute nous n’avons pas pu aller chez elle mais elle nous a trouvé un magnifique appartement au cœur de Trastevere.

We enjoyed our stay in Rome. The building is located in Trastevere, the famous, tipical roman quarter, touristic and popular, but the location is in a quiet street, surrounded by gardens. At walking distance there are some of the roman tourist attractions, while the others can be reached by the busses that pass nearby. We loved the cat Leo, who was used to gently touch our legs when was hungry.

Your flat is nice and cosy and we felt right at home. With breakfast on the balcony in the morning. Leo the cat was also cosy. It is half an hour's walk from famous locations such as the Pantheon. So we walked a lot. The street is quiet and if you turn the corner you are right in the lively and cosy Travestere. A perfect place to discover Rome! Thanks for the tips, delicious Italian cake and wine. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Para conocer Roma se tiene que vivir en el Trastevere. El apartamento está super bien situado en una zona muy tranquila y un entorno muy agradable. Disfrutamos del barrio, de los restaurantes, del mercado y del barrio. El apartamento de Lorenza es muy cómodo.

We stayed in Lorenza's great, comfortable flat for 7 hot late-summer-days, enjoying the shady leafy neighbourhood every time we returned to the flat. It is ideally located, very close to restaurants, cafes and bars in Trastevere's small alleys and piazzas and a 20min tram ride to the main sights of Forum Romanum and Colosseum.

Lorenza is very easy to communicate with and so nice and friendly! The apartment was perfect for us with everything we could wish for. Easy to get to the historic Center (30 mins on foot or faster by public transport). We absolutely adored Leo, the cat. He is very friendly and well behaved. Dear Lorenza, thank you so much for your hospitality! We look forward to welcoming you in Belgium.

Lorenza's appartment is nice and cosy. We could visit Rome center on foot easily, nearly everything is about 30 or 40mn from the appartment. The area is very lively and enjoyable. Lorenza lent us a lot of interesting documents and flyers about Roma and gave us good advices (the Domus Aurea was wonderful !).

Vi trivdes veldig godt i denne fine leiligheten i Trastevere. Nærmiljøet er koselig og det er kort vei til sentrum. God kommunikasjon med huseierne i forkant gjorde husbyttet enkelt.

Thank you for offering us such a nice New Year in Rome. Everything was well organised. Many touristic spots in walking distance. Easy and quick correspendance with Lorenza. Great!

Lorenza was very friendly and helpful, she came pick us up at the train station upon arrival. Her home is in a wonderful location, right in the heart of Rome Trastevere area, yet in a quiet building with a peaceful garden. We had a wonderful exchange experience with her and definitely recommend her as an exchange partner.
