We are 3 in our family house and we enjoy to live in Tours.
Tours is a little big town in a wilderness with the Loire, forest, agriculture fields with good foods, nice wines, no busy life, good life for adults and children.
But if we need other horizons, the Ocean and the Auvergne mountains are at a 2,5 hours driving.
To go even further, Tours has his own domestic Airport but Paris and its airports are at 1 hour by train.
We work to travel, to meet people, to discover other culture, to see what nature made good without damaging to much Earth

We had a really nice time in Tours. Pierre's house is perfect for enjoying a cozy evening on the terrace after a day of visiting castles, cities, and much more in this beautiful area in France. Everyone in Tours was super friendly! It's a great city for a nice stroll along the Loire & of course: the carrousel was an all-time favourite for our little girls (1,5 yo). Both Pierre and his daughter Gaby were perfect guests & even spent some time reading bedtime stories to our baby. We felt very welcome and had everything we needed available to us. Pierre even made sure we could have a baby bed and baby chair at the location so we didn't have to bring our own. Would 100% recommend an exchange with them!

At ground floor: light and open kitchen on a courtyard and on a cosy living room
At first floor: 2 bedrooms with 140cm bed, 1 child bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower
At second floor : 1 climatized and open bedroom with a 140cm bed and a bathroom
Toilets at each level, gas heating
At disposal: barbecue/plancha, 4 bicycles, 1 car

Closed to bus station (2 min walking), to railway station (10 min walking), to Airport (20 min walking and tramway)
In the center of the Loire Valley (castles, wines, gastronomy, cycling along the Loire...) at 1 hour to Paris by train
