Strongly recommended for those ones fond of nature, old French houses and peaceful small villages. But - don't take me wrong - it is not possible to get bored - numerous walking paths, easy to follow through the woods or the small roads. A lot of places to visit around - St.Savin and its Abbey; Montmorillion - the macarons and the Snake Island; Shauvigny - its spectacular Bird Show and the velorail; Bellebouche - lakes, pedalo's and kayaks; Futuroscope in Poitiers.
In the house there are plenty of pamphlets, road maps and informational brochures, carefully arranged in different maps. Deborah has thought of any helpful information regarding the house itself, the village and area around, listed in her Welcome book.
The house is a wonderful spacious place to stay, with all the necessay facilities, especially the lovely records we could enjoy. Of course the ping-pong table and the game corner were always occupied. Thank you for the perfect swap!
