We spent some very hot days in a friendly and cool house. Lots of interesting places in the area and some pleasant evenings playing Darts in the garden in the company of Pinceau the cat made our stay seeming a bit too short. Thanks for a nice summer holiday.

We had a wonderful time and our hosts were a fantastic family and provided us a great experience. The town was wonderful and the location was great for us to travel and see the beautiful countryside and the history of France. Thanks Baumards!!

We have spent 2,5 weeks in the house of Carole and Christopher and we really enjoyed our time in France. The communication was perfect and everything well prepared. Thanks again for the warm welcome and gifts at our arrival. As Paris is easily reachable from Evreux by train in 1 hour we spent 2 days in Paris. We loved to explore this area of France with the beautiful Seine valley, nice villages, lots of chateaus and cathedrals. We really enjoyed the excellent food and wine in France. We also spent several days at the Normandy coast and visited Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville. Another highlight of this stay was the visit of Le Mont Saint Michel and the Cotentin Peninsula. Overall this exchange was a great experience which we do not want to miss.

Our stay in Evreux, Normandie exceeded our expectations. Carol and Christopher, experienced exchangers, helped us ( first time exchangers) with both large and small details so that we could travel to France with confidence. The Baumard's are warm, helpful, generous people and our exchange went very smoothly. I had occasion to need a doctor in France and Carol enlisted a friend to make an appointment for me and drive me to the doctor. Such consideration for us was greatly appreciated. Our French family's home is in a lovely , convenient neighborhood. We could walk or bike to town for food and bakery or drive to major, historical sites within one hour. We will never forget this great exchange or our French family. If you have an opportunity to swap with them, you will have a wonderful time!
