Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
Our house is very confortable and particularly pleasant in summer. It has a surface of around 230 m2 and the garden (grass and fruit trees) extends over 4500m2. It has a large paved terrace in "L" facing from North East to South West with a direct access from the dining room and the kitchen. In summer, we usually have our diners out from morning to evening. Since June 2013, we have also built a warmed swimming pool (8m x 4m, depth 1.4, 28 ° C) Moreover there are outside a table tennis table, a swing and many games for children (roller blades, tennis rackets, balls ...)
Our sunny valley is very beautiful. The area is ideal for cultural visits (architecture and Roman remains, discovering the Beaujolais vineyards, visiting museums, zoos ...), having some walks on the hills (little and bigger ones) or simply for resting! Lyon, France's second city and "Capital of Gaul" is worth seeing: Roman amphitheater, typical streets, the puppet theater and the famous Lyon gastronomy is worth trying to

We are indeed in "the" gastronomic region of France. Here one can find great cuisine but also many typical little restaurants as there is one in our village.
It takes 10 minutes by car to go to the nearest town, Tarare (shops, cinema, Municipal swimming pool etc) and 40 minutes to go to Lyon.
In just 20 minutes you can also find a famous regional lake that offers many recreational opportunities (watersports, windsurfing, pedal boats, walk in the forest, paintball, horseback riding, mini-golf, etc... ).
To discover more, in exactly two hours you can go to Paris by train (TGV Paris-Lyon).
