We are two active individuals who spend a great deal of time sailing. We have a non-shedding cairn terrier who travels with us or goes to friends. We are open to non-simultaneous exchanges as well as we can move onto our boat.

Welcome to the adventure of a lifetime... Destination: Victoria on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Explore Victoria, Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands as well as the many coastal communities such Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park - West Coast Trail, French Beach Provincial Park, Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park to name but a few of the many destinations within an hour or so drive or ferry. Vancouver Island was rated the TOP ISLAND in the Continental US and Canada and one of the TOP TEN ISLANDS IN THE WORLD by the 2012 Travel+Leisure World's Best Awards.
Vancouver Island has a wealth of outdoor adventure and recreation; golfing, sailing, visiting gardens, hiking, kayaking, surfing, kite boarding, whale watching, diving, fishing, mountain biking and more. There are many renowned parks that are within an hour's drive. Pacific Rim and Long Beach are about a 4.5-hour drive. Victoria is a unique blend of old world charm and modern conveniences.

We live in a very welcoming neighbourhood that is 2 blocks to the ocean and about a 20 minute walk to downtown and the harbour. Groceries and restaurants are only a few blocks walk. There are many beautiful streets to walk through that are lined with beautiful old homes and gardens.

From our house it is a 20 minute walk to the downtown harbour where you will find everything from the provincial museum and whale watching to many restaurants and shops. We are about a 10 minute walk to the beach and the sea wall.
