We are a semi-retired professional couple - a judge and a social worker - very clean and tidy. We have done numerous successful home exchanges in the past with our children and now want to continue on our own. We have three grown chidren and four grandchildren who may or may not join us on an adventure depending on the time and place.

Even though we live in the centre of exciting Vancouver, our home is exceptionally quiet as there is no street noise, just water and gardens and lots of light. All of downtown Vancouver is accessible by walking or by the Canada Line metro which is 2 blocks from home. Our peaceful rural 3 acre island home is a 45 minute drive and a 50 minute ferry ride from downtown.

From our large Vancouver condo, if you can tear yourself away from the view, there is access to all the amenities of a world-class city. When you are tired of the hustle and bustle of our beautiful city, you can take a 50 minute ferry to our Galiano Island 3-acre paradise on the waterfront overlooking the Salish Sea. There we have a 3-acre estate with private swimming pool, tennis court, and long dock from which you can paddle and swim.
