Visiting Ottawa in the winter months offers plenty of opportunities for cross country and down hill skiing, snowshoeing , skating on the Rideau Canal and Fat Wheel biking in the snow along the Ottawa River! In February , Ottawa Celebrates "Winterlude" . You will have an opportunity to skate the longest skating rink in the world " The Rideau Canal".
Ottawa is an hour and a half from Montreal , and 4 and a half hours from Toronto.
