Brussels is an attractive and green city (the second greenest capital in the world after Washington DC) with lots of interesting spots and places, which are not always known to tourists. Brussels has a very good public transport service: buses, trams, subway, trains. There are several busstops near our house and the subway is only a 5-minute walk away.
Our multicultural neighbourhood is close enough to walk to the city centre, but quiet enough to escape the buzzing city life.

Brussels is also an ideal fallout point to visit the whole country thanks to its central position and the extensive highway infrastructure. In one hour you can be at the seaside or in the Ardens. And the historical cities of Ghent, Bruges, Antwerp, Mechelen, Leuven/Louvain, Liège are only a-half-hour drive away.

Even Paris and London are only 2 hours away with the high speed train.
