2 adults, 1 teenager and en 1 primary school child (2 childeren)). We have also 2 CAT’s, Jos and Marcel. We are a family of a teacher and social worker. We are two mothers. We love travelling. Our interest are various. Sun and beach, winter and snow, hiking and strolling around in a city with Lots of cultur. Exchange gives us the opportunity to travel and stay in a warm family environment

We had a great time in fantastic Brugge! We loved the fact that it took us only a short and nice bikeride to go to the beautiful town with all of its resturants, buildings, pathways and canals. The surrounding area is a dream to explore! We advice everyone to stay clear of the highway so you can really enjoy all the wonderful small towns around Brugge. We felt at home right away, and loved the two cats and their funny habits. All communication was good, both before and during our stay. They also took good care of our home and cat.

I visited Gent and Diksmuide by train and did lot of biking trips in and around Brugge. Brugge is a very beautiful city with a great history, and you find good beers and chokolate

It was a really pleasant exchange. Inge and Katrien's house is well located just outside of Brugge city. The house is brand new and very well equipped (with an amazing kitchen!), and the kids had great time in the garden with the trampoline and all the toys. Hosts were very available and we had good communication before, during and after the exchange. We really advise this home and family!

Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig

Family home in quiet Street near romantic Bruges. Lots of green nearby.. The sea and beach is reachabel in a 15minutes drive with the car. We are 3 km away from the centre of Bruges, a mediëval city, Unesco. We are surrounded with lots of nature. The most famous worldwide - de meersen - is only a fewmeters away. The city Brussels, Antwerp, Gand are reachabel in one hour drive. Amsterdam and Paris is 2,5 hour drive. Lots to do for adults as for families with childeren. Boudewijnpark with sea-animals like dolphins is a 10 min drive. Lots of musea and also musea that are very attractieve for childeren. In the summer there are a Lots of festivals. Also famous for our chocolate, and lace. The best chocolatier of the world is from Bruges and has a spectaculair shop in the centre of the town 'chocolade line'.

our house has 3 bedrooms. A master bedroom with a connection to the bathroom and a connection to the dressing room. a youth room with a double bed and a second youth room with a single bed. We have a spacious bathroom on this floor. ground floor there is a very well equipped kitchen that flows into the sitting room where there is TV and DVD, etc. the sitting area overlooks the garden, in the garden there is a trampoline and in the summer we always install a swimming pool. we have a covered area in the garden to sit outside. There is also WiFi here and if it does get colder in the evening, you can install the heating (infra-red). there are several bicycles available. Bruges is a cycling city and you can make very nice cycling trips in the area. at our house there is an information folder with all the info as well as local plans.

Quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. The street is for the childeren a real playingstreet because there drive only cars for the people who live in the streat. It is a streat with a dead end.

Center of bruges - ancient mediëval town / 50 km of gand / 100km of Brussel / 100 km of antwerp / 20 km of the several beaches / 2,5 hour drive to Amsterdam and to Paris. 60km to Ypres with lots of commemoration of the first world war / amusementspark for childeren / museums that are also attractive for childeren / Belgium also very famous for his eatcultur. We have several restaurant with 3 stars.
