We are booked through 2022 to mid June 2023.

We are retired (double vaxed and boosted) and live in a lovely seaside area north of Brisbane. We relocated to Redcliffe, Queensland in December 2020 where almost everything is at your fingertips: beach walks, local theatre, shopping, eateries, all within a few minutes walk from our home!
Prior to retiring we lived in the Czech Republic for 4 years where we taught conversational English at a private language school. Prague is one of our favourite European cities.
We enjoy travelling and look forward heading overseas when travel is permitted.
We have exchanged our home, and house-sat on numerous occasions both in Australia and overseas, and have family and friends in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, UK and Canada and naturally these areas are the focus of our trips.
Even though Covid has interrupted our travel plans we are flexible and open to any suggestions/options.

Our Home
Our apartment in Redcliffe is ideally located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, museum, theatres and shopping. The Glasshouse mountains are a must see, and the hinterland offers walks, views, quaint towns and much more, and just a stone's throw away!
We moved here in December 2020 and are still exploring the immediate area. Our apartment is on the ground floor in a complex of just 14 units. There are 3 bedrooms with an ensuite to the main bedroom and another bathroom for occupants of the second bedroom. The third is our office, however we can provide a queen size Eurobed should it be needed.
Our deck has an outdoor setting and it's a great spot to relax after a day's sightseeing.
If you enjoy the theatre, markets and sporting activities then there's plenty of choice, both here in Redcliffe and further afield in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast (approx 45 mins drive, depending on your destination). Brisbane Airport is 30 mins away and the CBD is approximately 45 mins away (of course traffic congestion might alter those estimations!!).

Redcliffe is well positioned approximately 45 minutes drive north of Brisbane's CBD. It is an idyllic holiday haven well suited to a daily walk along the esplanade, either early morning or in the evening. There are numerous cafes and restaurants along the way and you can drop in for breakfast, or maybe a glass of wine in the afternoon. Everything is at your fingertips, come and see for yourself!

The Sunshine Coast, Glasshouse mountains and hinterland are approximately 45 minutes drive from Redcliffe, where you will find lovely walks and quaint towns with delicious eateries and tempting souvenirs!
It is a short walk from our unit to the Bluewater Shopping Centre and the Esplanade where there are many various restaurants etc. Settlement Cove lies just beyond the Esplanade and there is a man-made lagoon which is ideal for children and families, with BBQ's and shelter (if you are early!!).
