Melbourne has been voted the most livable city in the World for 7 years in a row! Come for a visit to find out why.
Central city apartment with great views and easy access to everything - 10 minutes walk to the historic Queen Victoria Markets; magnificient State Library of Victoria is just across the road; in the middle of the free tram inner city zone, and a choice of supermarkets about 5 minutes walk away. The apartment comfortably sleeps 2 people with the possibility of a third who is happy to sleep on an inflatable mattress if necessary. You will look down onto a historical area of the inner city of Melbourne which includes Old Melbourne Gaol across the street, the original Magistrates court and the Art Deco era police station (now apartments). There is a 24 hour concierge in the apartment Lobby
We are very experienced home exchangers who usually do non-simultaneous exchanges to allow for maximum flexibility for both parties. We are happy to save your part of the swap until you are ready to use it
You can easily get into the city from Melbourne Airport using the 24 hour bus service SKYBUS

Melbourne is a cosmopolitan and vibrant city of about 5 million people. All the amenities you would expect are within walking distance or a tram ride from my apartment, such as galleries, cafes, sporting stadiums, as well as the river running through the city just a few minutes walk away. The nearest beach is 2 tram trips away - about 15 to 20 minutes
Many times voted the world's most livable city, Melbourne hosts many major events such as the Grand Prix, Australian Open Tennis competition, spring racing season and more theatre than any city in Australia

You will be in the centre of the city with Melbourne Museum about 10 minutes walk away. The Immigration Museum is easily accessible by trams within the free tram zone, as are the 2 National Galleries of Victoria - Australian art at Federation Square and International art, just a 2 minute walk from the end of the free tram. Both are mostly free. All suburban trains and buses travel through the city and you will be 5 minutes walk from one of the major central train stations - Melbourne Central. Country trains all depart from another main station - Southern Cross Station - also easily accessible with trams within the free city tram zone.
Melbourne is famous for the number of theatre and musical shows presented. Currently Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is playing at the magnificient Princes Theatre. Yes, it is also showing around the world but only in London and New York....and Melbourne.
With the use of a MYKI travel card (I will provide one for you to use during your stay - just add money as you need to for further travel), you can easily have trips outside the city centre to places such as St Kilda, famous for its Sunday Market, wild penguin colony, and more
