We are retired primary school teachers. We have traveled and exchanged houses In Scotland, England, Italy and Canada. We find it a wonderful experience.We would love to continue travelling and having different experiences in supermarkets, shops, villages trains and buses!
We have 4 daughters and at the moment 5 grandchildren. We keep active by playing golf,tennis, field hockey and walking.

Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
We have a large 2 storey brick home in the small tourist village of Morpeth. Our house overlooks farmland. There are cafes and restaurants as well as general services such as chemist and doctor. Morpeth is close to Maitland where there are good rail links to Sydney and Brisbane. Newcastle is our nearby city. It has great beaches, restaurants and scenery as well as cultural experiences. Newcastle has a university and an airport enabling flights to many destinations. The world renowned Hunter Valley vineyards are only 50 minutes away by car.

The local pub is a short walk from our house as are coffee shops, cafes and boutiques. Maitland is a city of over 60,000 people and it is a 12 min drive away. Newcastle (million population) is about a 30 minute drive, or train . Newcastle Airport is about 40 minutes drive and includes direct flights to Queensland, Melbourne and Sydney as well as connections to other areas.
