We are a retired couple enjoying life travel and our families. Robert is a teacher of over 35 years while Angela is a retired marketing manager. We have been members of homelink since the mid 1990's and have experienced over 20 exchanges hostings and accomodation. We are open to timings destinations the only considerations are our parents who are now in their nineties.

Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
A 3 bedroom house on a single level with a carport and a jetty into Lake Illawarra. The house is modern and fully equipped with all the normal appliances and features, It has a modern kitchen with a gas stove and electric dishwasher , micro wave. fridge / freezer and wrap around verandah on two sides which overlooks the lake which is 10 steps from the verandah. It has 2 double bedrooms with the third bedroom used also as a second lounge, and a separate study. There are two separate bathrooms with toilets showers and a spa bath and a separate laundry / utility room. It is a gated community park and you will be given an electronic tag to enable your entry. Ceiling Fans in all rooms and conditioning in the lounge room.

It is a quiet area with unbelievable lake views and waterfront access with a large community pool and community hall / bbq within the park. We have a number of kayaks and a boat / motor for your use. There are fishing rods / nets so you can attempt to catch your own dinner and cook it on our bbq. There are 3 shopping centers ( Warrawong, Warilla Grove and Shellharbour square ) within a short 10 minute drive and numerous clubs , hotels and restaurants also nearby. Many beaches / lakes / walking tracks / playgrounds make this ideal for children. It is a twenty minute drive into the city of Wollongong with its many attractions and then a 70 minute train ride along the coast up to Sydney.

the home is a waterfront with access to a walking / bike track around the lake. Fishing is available. A number large shopping centres with doctors / dentists is about 10 minutes drive away. The location is quiet calming and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views over the lake with its boating and sailing. Numerous restaurants clubs and other attractions are short distances away. Port Kembla and Windang beaches are a few minutes drive away. Wollongong central is a short drive or train/ bus journey with Sydney a 70 minute fast train trip away. Many local attractions with buddhist temple, Kiama and Shellharbour / Jamberoo historical villages, natural attractions and features such as minnumurra , waterfalls , national parks and hiking trails.
