Our neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly but is still in walking distance to shops, restaurants, clubs, beach, creek and many walking tracks like Burleigh Headland or Burleigh Hill.
According to Trip Adviser, Gold Coast was voted as the most popular holiday destination for Australians followed by Sydney.
Our home is uniquely located. Close to beach, river, shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs.
There are many bars/clubs nearby including the local Burleigh Surf Club and the Pavilion Bar and restaurant (<20 minutes walk away) which both offer full bar facilities and dining while you enjoy the beautiful views of Burleigh Heads beach. James Street (about 15 minutes walk) has many restaurants, bars, clothing shops, etc. A large super market and shopping centre is 5 minutes walk.
The Gold Coast International Airport is about a 15 minute drive away with national and international flights. It is one hour drive to Brisbane City. Within 30 minutes of our home are the theme parks of Sea World, Wet N Wild Water World, Dreamworld, Movie World and the Australian Outback Spectacular. Byron Bay which is a mecca for tourists, and the beautiful Brunswick Heads are about an hours drive south.
Bush walking is a short walk away from our home at Burleigh Park and Burleigh Headland.
There are 2 bicycles for use.
There are also direct flights from Brisbane to New Caledonia, Fiji, New Zealand, etc. if you wish to escape for a week.
A 24 hour bus service runs along the Gold Coast Highway which is quite cheap. A car exchange is only available to reciprocal exchanges where cars are swapped.
