We really had the best time in this beautiful area of the world - Lesley and Ross met us at the airport and spent the day showing us around the area and taking us to one of their favourite restaurants. They kept in touch now and again throughout the stay and it was lovely sharing what each other were up to. The house was beautiful - the view from the bedroom is spectacular and the pool and garden were beautiful. We loved waking up to the sound of the rainforest animals every morning and taking in the various watering holes and waterfalls around the area. We visited many beautiful beaches, did a night walk in the rain forest (organised by Ross' nephew), took a trip to Fitroy Island, went snorkelling and scuba diving in the great Barrier reef. We also took a short flight to visit Brisbane and the Gold Coast where we went surfing and whale watching (and even managed to squeeze in a ladies world cup game). It really was our trip of a lifetime, thank you Lesley and Ross for making it possible!

Lesley and Ross were amazing hosts, meeting us at the airport, taking us to their beautiful home and sharing it and their lives with us for a full week! Everything was fantastic at their place, and we even had our own little suite section on the main floor! We enjoyed time with drinks and playing in the pool and being taken to so many wonderful places! Fantastic exchange experience all around!
