Our home is a modern top floor apartment in a small block of three (only 7 years old) overlooking sporting fields and a bay off the Parramatta River which flows into Sydney Harbour. We are about 7 kilometres west of the city.
The apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and has a large balcony (with gas BBQ) facing southwest.
Galley kitchen has gas cooktop, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and a small fridge for wine.
The main bathroom has a spa bath.
Study nook off the kitchen.
It is a fully secure block with lift access from the basement garage to the top floor.
Public transport close. A bus stop for a bus to Sydney city, Sydney Central Train station and Coogee Beach is 100m away (bus to city takes about 15-20 minutes). Ferry to City (with connections to harbour locations, Taronga Zoo and Luna Park and Manly) and to Parramatta is 15 minutes walk, buses to other destinations 5 minutes walk.
The are plenty of visitor attractions including the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge (take a climb over the arch?), Taronga Zoo or Luna Park accessible by ferry, and many beautiful beaches, including the famous Bondi Beach.
There are also several museums and art galleries.
Further afield for day or overnight trips, are destinations in the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley (wine country) and NSW South Coast, all within a few hours drive.
A car is available to swap with underground secure parking.
We have a small SUV (Audi Q2) to swap.
Wi-Fi internet , Satellite TV and bicycles available for use.
