Arriving in Heather and Howard's house was very easy for us thanks to the lovely gifts and many good tips for excursions. We were thrilled with the house with its furnishings and layout and the enchanting garden Playing football.Parents could relax by the pond and in the vine covered seating area.Herne Bay is a lovely English bathing and recreation spot.We often went swimming....caught crabs and explored the area by bike. Not far from Herne Bay is the wonderful city of Canterbury. We visited the city often and also went on a canoe tour. From Herne Bay you can also easily reach London. We spent a fantastic day in London. We were also impressed by Leeds Castle. A typical English moated castle. with great history. Herne Bay is an ideal starting point to get to know kent in England. We had a very nice holiday in a comfortable house. We experienced a very warm welcome and found our house very tidy on returning. The small villages at the coast are worth a visit. For the beautiful gardens in Kent you had best choosen end May or June.

We spent a wonderful week in Kent, travelled around and saw all the interesting places in the locality. A lovely clean and tidy home we were made to feel very welcome with a lovely welcome gift and we even got a welcome home gift on our return. We wouldn't hesitate to return, that's the best recommendation you can get
